Overview: This workshop is aimed at those with a specific interest in the process of Defined Benefit Transfer Advice and is intended to be fully interactive. Martin Clubbs, Pension Specialist at Old Mutual Wealth shall be in attendance to provide technical input, delegates are also encouraged to provide questions ahead of the event for discussion on the day.
Proposed learning objectives from the session are as follows:
- Identifying the key factors when deciding to transfer a DB pension- the relevance of age?
- Sustainability of CETVs – dealing with a CETV which has been reduced in value
- Impact of DB transfers on the cost of PI insurance
- Usefulness of TVAS reports in the advice process
