Addressed to those tasked with any element of production efficiency improvement and future planning of facility network management, the event will provide the ideal opportunity to get an insight into the business benefits and efficiencies that can be achieved by conjoining manufacturing and enterprise networks.

Business pressures for efficiencies are driving convergence in the industrial space. Put simply, industrial IP convergence implies the conjoining of differing types of traffic such as Control, Voice, Video, Data and Security over the same network based on the Internet Protocol (IP). Enterprise convergence lowers the total cost of ownership of maintaining disparate networks and brings the management of functionalities firmly within the IT department's remit.
