The Manufacturing Advisory Service in Yorkshire and Humber will hold its 2010 Manufacturing Conference – A New Era for Manufacturing – on Thursday, October 14, at the Advanced Manufacturing Park Technology Centre in Rotherham.

The full day event will focus on best practice and networking for the region's manufacturers, with the emphasis on helping firms develop their strategic direction, capitalise on "low carbon" opportunities and push forward with innovative and advanced manufacturing techniques.

Local business leaders will also be available to delegates to give practical tips and advice on improving the competitiveness of their business.
