IIDEA Ltd - formerly known as Proforge - are based on the ground floor of the AMP Technology Centre and are pleased to announce their change of company name.

IIDEA Ltd is a start-up business which began operation on 24th January 2011. They seek to be a leading service provider of designed and manufactured precision components for the energy & power, nuclear, aerospace and biomedical supply chains. To achieve this they aim to supply high level design skills combining engineering and materials expertise to compliment bespoke manufactured components and precision bar products.

As a start-up company, they are in a position to be able to focus their capabilities towards specific goals. They have just invested in a precision sawing centre (Danobat CR 260 AF), CNC Mill (Haas TM-1E), and CAD workstation (SolidWorks 2011) and CAM software (OneCNC), with a CNC lathe arriving shortly.

These machines, combined with their CAD-CAM capabilities, provide them with a comprehensive design and machining capacity for small to medium sized components in a variety of materials. With their main target sectors being the energy & power, metallurgy and environmental supply chains, IIDEA will be working with specialist metals, alloys and composites, also steels and stainless steels.
