Sheffield Based Fripp Design has just announced the design and development of a new vice for the construction industry.

"This is a product the construction industry has needed for a long time" stated Dave Roberts Director of Site Tools Limited and inventor of the Site Vice "Cutting piping and awkward shaped objects has been fraught with risks for as long as there have been petrol saws" continued Roberts.

The Site Vice, designed and developed by Product Design company Fripp Design is a vice designed to be used on construction sites where there is a need to use high powered, petrol disk cutter saws. By securing the object to be cut, the risk of injury is reduced significantly. "Fripp have worked with me from the outset. Their knowledge of design and how to get things built has been invaluable" added Roberts "We've now got most of the major construction companies interested in trialling Site Vice in their work environment which Fripp are helping us to get done"
